Valerie Ewers, owner of Jeannes gelato and More, tasted her first gelato about a year ago in California and became passionate about the Italian ice cream. She had always dreamed of owning her own dessert and coffee shop and decided gelato had to be brought to Evansville, Indiana. And on January 20, 2006, that life long dream became true. Valerie is very proud of their family recipes and decided to ask her sisters to join her. Their mother, grandmother and sister, now all deceased, passed along their joy of cooking and their recipes. In many ways, Jeannes Gelato and More is a tribute to them.
